Victorian thoughts from the Cemetery : December 20

 Here, we move from tombstone to full memorial statuary. The Christ figure and innocent sacrificial lamb, the downward glance exhibiting pure humility. The detail is exquisite, observe the folds of material in this full-sized statue. A Christian symbol of expensive quality, the stonemason's name as yet unidentified.  Note the ivy, as the photographs have been taken six months apart.
