The barrenness and cold of winter had been too much.
Our garden has some bulbs poking through, but it is not enough to stand on your own doorstep, we needed to go out into Kent and look around at the bigger picture. So not many words this time, just pictures that show that quietly Spring is on the way and all that grey dreariness is about to disappear into a riot of colour.
So, we went home and filled our house with daffodils and spring sunshine.
